Since the start-up in 1998, we have delivered advertising revenues and products / services to a total value of NOK 2,4 billion to Norwegian municipalities, property managers, shopping centers and public transport companies.
JCDecaux have delivered advertising-financed leskur to byer since 1964. The collaboration with some of the world's leading designers has resulted in a large catalog of different varieties. In Norway has JCDecaux deployed shelter designed by Birger Heyerdahl, Norman Foster, Marc Aurel, Knud Holscher og JCDecaux Design Sstudio. Newer shelters can be equipped with a number of Smart City-elements such as sensors, interactive info systems, USB chargers etc.
JCDecaux developed the first self-cleaning toilet for Paris in 1980. We operateer today the world's two largest contracts for public toilets in Paris (400 pcs.) and i Berlin (300 pcs.). JCDecaux has deployed a number of variants in Norway, designed by Philip Cox, Norman Foster, Birger Heyerdahl and JCDecaux Design Sstudio.
As part of JCDecaux without rich product portfolio, we offer various forms of city bike services with associated advertising financing. JCDecaux normally stands for investment, operation and maintenance. The concept ranges from traditional city bikes, for electric bikes and scooters.
The road from funding through advertising to developing public information systems is not long. JCDecaux offers a range of information systems ranging from historic signage to well-designed cast iron products, via analog paper-based products, for digital interactive solutions. De various solutions are currently in use in a number of norwegian cities.
