Love Island Innovate

A handmade glass heart from Hadeland Glassverk made the finishing touch when Love Island launched its Innovate.

Making a 3D version of the heart in the Love Island logo turned out to be a tedious affair. Neither plexi glass producers nor the balloon industry could meet our demands. The solution was Hadeland Glassverk, who were able to make a 50 cm tall heart. The heart was hand blown and weighs almost 20 kg.

The selected bus shelter has been a landmark at Aker Brygge for three weeks. The heart was lit from below, and along with the neon sign it became a natural eyecatcher. A separate time table, similar to those for buses and ferries, showed the airing schedule for the show, reflecting the attention to detail in this campaign.
