20th Century Fox showcased two wonderful Innovate installations at Aker Brygge and Oslo Central Station last week. The goal: To promote their new blockbuster movie – X-Men Apocalypse
The giant X-Men logo looks great in the city, and we are very pleased with the result. Norwegian advertisers are well aware of Oslo Central Station as an arena to reach an attractive audience with innovative communication. However. Huge investments, in both buildings and the area in general, has also developed Aker Brygge into an attractive playground for creative advertising. It’s almost like a stage in the city, visited by an average of 250 000 people every week.
– This is the 9th movie in the series, in what has become one of the most lucrative film franchises in history. We are always looking for new and exciting ideas and we have very good experience with doing creative campaigns like this together with JCDecaux. We want people to notice our installations. We even want them to stop for a second and share pictures in social media. We have made several campaigns like this in the past. The most memorable one being the launch of A Good Day to Die Hard Die Hard in 2013. That campaign really took off and went viral in record time, says marketing director for 20 Century Fox in Norway, Eva Moe.
X-Men Apocalypse premieres in cinemas in the whole country the 20th of May.
